An Open Letter to Our INI Sippers - July 22
An Open Letter to You Our INI Sippers.
Dear INI Sippers,
We, Gulaid and Davina (and the namesakes of INI Sips - our 3 children), opened our shop in January of 2020 not knowing what was to come. Our goal was to be a coffee shop that promoted community, conversation, family, and amazing tea and coffee. For those of you that had the chance to visit us during our time operating as a café, we thank you, it was a blast. We met some lifelong friends and are glad about that. Once the pandemic hit, we closed the shop to the public, and you, our customers helped us provide hundreds of pounds of coffee to first responders, healthcare workers, and other community leaders that were working during the quarantine. It was amazing to see our customers partnering with us.
Over the last two years, although we didn't return to being a coffee shop, we were able to grow our business and now you can find our coffee and tea in several stores in your communities. Currently, we are in a place of growth and change. So what does that mean for INI Sips? We will no longer offer in-store pick-up or shopping and instead, will be working with a New Britain-based headquarters (closed to the public) and adding an additional warehouse to Greensboro, NC. This will help us with getting products across the country to all our INI Sippers.
What does that mean for you? We will keep doing our best to get orders out to you and keep an amazing lineup of coffee and tea. Just as with many small businesses, we are truly doing our best to combat delays, ingredient shortages, and all of the post-pandemic issues that we have all experienced.
We ask that you be patient and excited with us as we take the next steps to be an even bigger, better INI Sips.
Gulaid, Davina, and the INI Sips Team
